Another emulator has hit the PS3 today as an anonymous developer releases and early built of PS3SX, a PSX emulator for the PlayStation 3 based on the PlayStation emulator, PCSX.
The pre-release version of the emulator is a hybrid between the leaked PS3 SDK and the open sourced PSL1GHT. A source code for the program is not available at the moment, but the dev promises to release it once the emulator is completely ported using the PSL1GHT SDK. The emulator will work on all retail 3.41 units but is untested on older firmwares.
The pre-release version of PCSX features:
All iso formats
PSX homebrew *.psx and *.exe
Save works for player 1 & 2
Sound support CDDA and XA
