Remember that PimpStreamer DLNA by homebrew developer DickyDick1969 which allows users to share files across DLNA-equipped systems such as the Sony PlayStation 3? A new build is now available to bring PimpStreamer DLNA to version 1.2.
PimpStreamer DLNA v1.2 offers a couple of new features that should prove to be invaluable for your file sharing experience. Using DickyDick1969's app is still as simple as installing then choosing what files you want the server machine to host, but it's much more convenient to share this time.
Here's the changelog:
* VOB support and other files (you need a FAST lan)
* Now you can run multiple instances on 1 network.
* cleaned up dir listing (no more double entries)
* cleaned other misc stuff
