PS3 NOR And NAND Auto Patcher 4.50: Updated To Support Habib 4.50 CFW - Proskopina has created an app using Habib's recently released patches to make downgrading to 4.50 Habib CFW easy!
If you're looking to enter into the CFW PS3 scene you need two things: a hardware flasher and a downgradable console. As long as your system is a 1k or 2k variation, this should be exactly what you need. This simple to use GUI will take your flash dump and patch it to support Habib CFW v1.00. From there you can head straight into the very latest and greatest that the CFW community has to offer. Below is a changelog and a set of steps for use.
Added new HABIB CFW4.50 v1.00 patches to support OFW4.50 downgrading.
Dump your Flash many times and verify it well before proceeding.
Drag and Drop any Nor or Interleaved NAND Dump onto the executable,
it will detect the dump type and patch it accordingly with CFW4.50 patches.
Flash the patched image back into the PS3 Nor/Nands.
Restart the PS3.
- If the PS3 was already on OFW4.50 then it must start normally and you can Install Habib CFW4.50 from XMB -> Settings -> System Update.
- If the PS3 was on OFW < 4.50 then you will see the "Connect a PS3 controller" screen, and you can continue by installing Habib CFW4.50 simply by following the screen instructions.
This program does not check for the dump validity,A you must provide a good dump previously checked and verified.A It will patch the dump image even if it's not a 100% valid dump,A the program only does some minimal checks before patchingA assuming that the user have provided a valid dump.
