Animal Blood Values - The new Animal Blood Values (ABV) is cooler in design and more powerful in features. With an updated, yet editable, blood database of over 46 species of animals, ABV stands out with an expanded unit converter and glossary. An added information (e.g. body temperature, gestation duration, scientific name) of several species is included. Veterinarians, vet technicians and students can now use ABV to record and evaluate blood values of patients of different species in tabular form. Animals listed in the program are the following: dog, cat, horse, cattle, sheep, goat, swine, baboon, rhesus, ferret, gerbil, guinea pig, hamster, mouse, rat, rabbit, African grey parrot, amazon parrot, broiler chicken, budgerigar, caique, canary, cockatiel, cockatoo, conure, dove, duck, eagle, emu, hawk, lorry, lovebird, macaw, mynah, ostrich, parakeet, parrotlet, pionus, rosella, swan, toucan, boa, iguana, monitor lizard, python and turtle box. Parameters under Clinical Chemistry: albumin, ALP, ALT, amylase, AST, bicarbonate, bile Acid, bilirubin, calcium, chloride, cholesterol, creatine kinase, creatinine, GGT, globulin, glucose, LDH, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, SDH, sodium, total protein, urea nitrogen, and uric acid.
